The information that we gather about you is stored electronically and hosted in the UK. We work with several partners, eg ticket vendors and email management platforms. All of our partners are fully GDPR compliant. They only gather information about you with express permission and for a specific purpose. i) How we collect email addresses?

We gather email addresses for those that wish to subscribe to newsletters about The Playground Theatre via this website. Our sign up process requires a double opt in and is powered by MailChimp which is a fully GDPR compliant email platform. This sharing of data is managed electronically and is secure. The data is hosted in the UK.

ii) How we collect ticket purchase information?

We use ticketing vendor Lineupnow which is fully GDPR compliant. After selecting which performance you would like to see you are passed through to the Lineupnow website, which is branded as The Playground Theatre. All of the ticket purchase information gathered is stored by Lineupnow which is fully GDPR compliant. Lineupnow may collect payment details, email addresses and post codes during the course of a ticket sale. Some ticket purchasers choose to subscribe to our newsletters at the time of purchase. If this is the case all relevant email addresses collected by Lineupnow are shared with us. Some ticket purchasers choose to donate to The Playground Theatre at the time of ticket purchase. If the person that donates is a UK tax payer, they may chose to gift aid their donation, in which case address details are gathered by LineupNow – this is to verify that gift aid can be applied. This data is not shared with us, it is hosted by Lineupnow in the UK. This sharing of data is managed electronically and is secure. The data is hosted in the UK.

iii) How we gather online donations and funding?

You may have noticed donate buttons on our website. We work with Square online sales which allow us to collect donations via our account. They process and gather funds on our behalf. Square is fully GDPR compliant. All funds that are raised via the Square platform are transferred to The Playground Theatre which is a registered charity number: 1085435. All data gathered by Square during the course of receiving a donation is hosted in the UK.
