Gemma has been struggling. Her first year at Uni hasn’t gone so well. Her deadlines are looming, she’s popping pills like starbursts, and her Mum can sense the manic episode from 200 miles away. She promises herself that today will be her last party. A rave in the woods with Maeve…her best friend… who is super beautiful, kind, funny, pretty eyes, soft skin-- noooo! But ancient tricksters lurk in these woods. When she comes across a circle of mushrooms, she’s faced with a choice: to stay up high in fairyland, or choose to come back to the ground.
Ample Aggression Productions present a staged reading of Faever Dream is a dramedy about Bipolar II, sapphic love, rave culture and the desperation to find childlike magic in your adult life; no matter the cost.
